  2. Voices Against Violence 2019 Purple Passion 5K Run/Walk

    September 21, 2019, 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Voices Against Violence

Join us for a Saturday morning walk or run on September 21st to support Voices Against Violence and the work we do to end sexual and domestic violence in our community and help survivors rebuild their lives! All the money we raise at the Purple Passion Walk/Run goes directly to supporting victims and helping them stay safe. Whether they need housing, emergency shelter, counseling, a restraining order, or help for their children, Voices is here for them 24/7. At Voices, we also work towards a day when our community can be free of this violence. We work with schools and community centers promoting healthy relationships, educating around bullying and media literacy, and training on bystander intervention. Because the best way to help a victim is to prevent the violence in the first place. That’s our goal.
